Three teenage girls are cheated on by the same boy, the captain of the basketball team. As the girls realize what happened, they turn to the advice of a new student, who helps put male behavior in perspective. The three girls cross clichés to work together and use a fourth girl to seek revenge on their ex-boyfriend. Normal teenage hormones cause problems several times as the plans to hurt him take rollercoaster twists and turns. The girls create a unique friendship that is put to the test at the most dire of situations for a high-school student. How each recovers from the plotted revenge shows what friendship is all about.
